I put off writing this because I wanted to say something useful rather than just it is pretty and it works. So here is what five months with this thing actually looks like, from mid April to now. First, what it is, because people misread the listing: this is a waterless nebulizing diffuser. No tank, no water, no visible mist. A pump pushes air through the undiluted oil and throws out a very fine dry aerosol. That one choice explains everything else, good and bad. The good: heavy oils work. Cinnamon, clove, myrrh, vetiver, everything that floats on top of a water bath or kills an ultrasonic plate within a month just works here, and the scent is cleaner and stronger than my old water machine. The bad: oil consumption. This is real, so budget for it. On the middle setting a fifteen ml bottle lasts me three to four weeks. On the highest setting it is closer to two. If you are coming from a water diffuser where one bottle lasts half a year, this will feel expensive at first. Setup took about ninety seconds. Two pieces: a solid wood base with a scoop cut out of the top, and the glass chamber that drops into it. The glass is genuinely tight in the wood. I have clipped it with my elbow more than once reaching for something on the shelf and it has not shifted. Filling is done through the top. You lift the glass cap off, and there is a little hole drilled through the cap so the aerosol can escape. You use the dropper that comes with it and put in somewhere between twenty and thirty drops depending on how strong you want it. Fifteen seconds, no mess, nothing to spill. The four modes: two with the warm light, two without. With the light, mode one is a two hour timer and mode two is four hours. Both pulse, roughly three minutes off and one to two minutes on. Without the light, mode one gives you eight hours on a timer, and mode two is manual, running until you turn it off. I use the lit two hour mode at night and the unlit eight hour mode when I am working from home. The one thing I would change is that you cannot decouple the light from the mode. I would love the eight hour timer with a soft glow and I cannot have it. Noise, honestly, because it is the number one complaint. You can hear it. In a room with a TV on or a conversation going, you cannot. In a silent bedroom at two in the morning, you can. It is a soft pulsing puff, not a whine, and it is gone three minutes out of every four, which for me makes it easy to fall asleep to. But it is not silent, and if you cannot sleep with a ticking clock, this will bother you the same way. Battery depends entirely on the mode. The high output modes chew through the charge in two to three hours if you run them continuously at full. The low continuous setting will run for days. If you buy it to be cordless and then run it on high all day, you will be disappointed, and that is on the mode, not the machine. You can also use it plugged in, which I do most of the time, and it charges over USB-C. Cleaning takes two minutes a week. I pull the glass out, put a splash of isopropyl alcohol in it, swirl it, wipe it down. The outside of the glass does get slightly tacky over time from the oil, which is normal for anything that aerosolizes essential oil. Do not put the glass in the dishwasher and do not soak the wood. Who it is for: someone in a small space, my apartment is about six hundred square feet and one unit covers the whole living area, who wants something that looks like decor instead of an appliance. The waterdrop silhouette is what sold me. It is much slimmer than the boxier models and it fits on the narrow shelf next to my bed where nothing else would go. Who it is not for: anyone who wants visible mist, anyone who needs a humidifier, or anyone who wants to fill it once a month. And if you have pets, check that your oils are safe for them first. Five months in, no leaks, no failures, no regrets. At this price it is the best looking and best performing diffuser I have owned.

I really like this diffuser, especially the design. The solid wood base and glass chamber give it a much more premium and decorative look than a typical plastic diffuser, so it blends nicely with my desk and home décor instead of looking like an appliance.
Since it’s waterless, setup is very simple and I like not having to keep refilling a water tank. The scent comes through clearly and spreads surprisingly well for such a compact unit. I can adjust the intensity depending on how strong I want the fragrance, and it runs quietly enough that I can keep it next to my desk while I’m working without it being distracting.
The glass reservoir also makes it easy to see how much oil is left, and the overall size doesn’t take up much space. It feels well made and looks even better in person than I expected. So far it has been easy to use, attractive, and effective for keeping the room smelling nice. Five stars!
Le design est vraiment réussi, la forme de goutte d'eau est plus fine que les modèles carrés et il tient sur une étagère étroite là où rien d'autre ne rentrait. Le parfum monte très vite, en dix minutes ma chambre est parfumée pour la soirée, et j'aime beaucoup voir le niveau d'huile à travers le verre. L'autonomie est correcte sur les vitesses basses, moins sur les vitesses hautes, ce qui est logique. La seule chose que je signale: dans le silence complet de la nuit, on entend le petit bruit de pompe toutes les quelques minutes. Ce n'est pas dramatique et je dors quand même, mais ce n'est pas un appareil totalement silencieux. Malgré ce petit bruit, je le recommande vraiment, c'est un bel objet et il fait très bien son travail au quotidien.
Je cherchais un diffuseur sans eau depuis un moment, surtout parce que j'en avais assez de nettoyer le réservoir de mon ancien appareil à ultrasons et de sentir une odeur d'eau stagnante au bout de quelques jours. Celui-ci règle les deux problèmes d'un coup: pas de réservoir, pas d'eau, et le parfum est nettement plus pur et plus franc. On met vingt à trente gouttes avec la pipette fournie, on choisit une des quatre vitesses et c'est tout. La version avec la lumière dure deux heures, celle sans lumière peut tourner huit heures, ce qui me convient parfaitement pour travailler. Le verre soufflé et le bois massif donnent vraiment l'impression d'un objet décoratif plutôt que d'un appareil électrique. Je l'ai posé sur mon bureau et tout le monde me demande où je l'ai acheté. Deux réserves honnêtes: la pompe s'entend dans une pièce silencieuse, et la consommation d'huile est plus rapide qu'avec un diffuseur à eau. Ça reste un excellent achat.

Ausgepackt, 25 Tropfen rein, Stufe wählen, fertig. So einfach soll das sein. Der Duft verteilt sich in meinem Wohnzimmer in wenigen Minuten und hält danach noch eine Weile an. Im Betrieb hört man ein leises Pulsieren, mich stört es nicht. Kabellos auf der Fensterbank ist praktisch, weil dort keine Steckdose ist.
Ich habe drei Geräte durch, zwei mit Wasser, eines mit Kunststoffbehälter. Keines kam an dieses heran. Der Duft ist intensiver und reiner, das Gerät ist leiser als erwartet und die Verarbeitung ist eine andere Liga. Die Tropfenform ist schlanker, deshalb steht es bei mir im schmalen Regal neben dem Sofa. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Tropfenform ist schlanker als bei den eckigen Modellen und passt bei mir auf das Fensterbrett im Bad, wo wirklich wenig Platz ist. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nicht, aber ein Hinweis: Der Verbrauch ist höher als bei einem Wassergerät, und auf der höchsten Stufe hört man die Pumpe in einem stillen Raum deutlich. Ich schreibe selten Rezensionen, aber bei diesem Gerät habe ich vor dem Kauf stundenlang nach genau so einem Text gesucht und keinen gefunden, also liefere ich ihn jetzt selbst. Kurz zum Hintergrund: Ich hatte davor zwei günstige Ultraschallvernebler aus Kunststoff, beide nach einem halben Jahr entsorgt, den einen weil die Platte verkalkt war, den anderen weil im Wassertank nach zwei Wochen etwas zu wachsen anfing, das ich nicht mehr wegbekam. Das hier ist ein wasserloser Diffusor, das heißt es gibt keinen Tank, kein Wasser und keinen sichtbaren Nebel. Eine kleine Pumpe drückt Luft durch das reine Öl und stößt ein sehr feines, trockenes Aerosol aus. Genau das erklärt so ziemlich alles an diesem Gerät, das Gute wie das Nervige. Das Gute zuerst: schwere Öle funktionieren. Zimt, Nelke, Myrrhe, Weihrauch, alles was im Wasserbad nur obenauf schwimmt oder die Piezoplatte in einem Monat zerstört, läuft hier einfach durch. Der Duft ist deutlich klarer und intensiver als bei meinen alten Geräten, weil nichts verdünnt wird. Achtung, das ist auch der Punkt, an dem sich die Gemüter scheiden: Der Ölverbrauch ist hoch. Bei meiner mittleren Stufe reicht eine 15-ml-Flasche etwa drei bis vier Wochen, auf der höchsten Stufe eher zwei. Wer von einem Wassergerät kommt und denkt, eine Flasche hält ein halbes Jahr, sollte das vorher wissen. Aufbau und Befüllen dauern keine zwei Minuten. Das Gerät besteht im Wesentlichen aus zwei Teilen, dem Massivholzsockel mit einer Aussparung oben und der gläsernen Wasserkammer, die dort hineingesetzt wird. Bei mir sitzt das Glas von Anfang an sehr stramm in der Aussparung. Ich habe schon zweimal mit dem Ellbogen dagegen gestoßen und es hat sich keinen Millimeter bewegt. Befüllt wird über die Öffnung oben: Man nimmt die Glaskappe ab, die ein kleines Loch hat, durch das später das Aerosol entweicht, und träufelt mit der beiliegenden Pipette etwa zwanzig bis dreißig Tropfen hinein. Das ist der ganze Vorgang, es gibt keinen Wasserstand, keinen Trichter und nichts, was überlaufen könnte. Die vier Stufen. Zwei davon laufen mit dem warmen Licht, zwei ohne. Mit Licht: Stufe eins ist ein Zwei-Stunden-Timer, Stufe zwei ein Vier-Stunden-Timer. Beide arbeiten im Intervall, grob gesagt drei Minuten Pause, ein bis zwei Minuten Sprühen. Ohne Licht: Stufe eins läuft acht Stunden mit Timer, Stufe zwei ist der manuelle Dauerbetrieb, der läuft bis man ihn ausschaltet. Im Alltag nutze ich abends die beleuchtete Zwei-Stunden-Stufe und tagsüber, wenn ich von zu Hause arbeite, die unbeleuchtete Acht-Stunden-Stufe. Was ich ändern würde: Man kann das Licht nicht unabhängig von der Stufe wählen. Ich hätte gern den Acht-Stunden-Timer mit dem sanften Schimmer, und das geht nicht. Kleine Sache, aber man merkt sie jeden Abend. Zum Thema Lautstärke, weil das der häufigste Kritikpunkt ist: Man hört es. In einem Raum mit laufendem Fernseher oder einem Gespräch hört man es nicht. In einem stillen Schlafzimmer um zwei Uhr nachts schon. Es ist ein weiches, pulsierendes Puffen, kein hohes Pfeifen, und es ist drei von vier Minuten weg, was mir das Einschlafen leicht macht. Aber leise ist es nicht im absoluten Sinn, und wer bei einer tickenden Uhr nicht schlafen kann, den wird das genauso stören. Zur Batterie: Das hängt komplett von der Stufe ab. Die hohen Stufen ziehen den Akku in wenigen Stunden leer, ich würde sagen zwei bis drei Stunden im Dauerbetrieb. Die niedrige Dauerstufe läuft dagegen tagelang. Wer das Gerät kauft, um es kabellos zu betreiben, und es dann den ganzen Tag auf hoch laufen lässt, wird enttäuscht sein, aber das liegt an der Stufe und nicht am Gerät. Man kann es auch am Kabel betreiben, was ich meistens mache, und es lädt über USB-C, also brauche ich kein zusätzliches Netzteil auf Reisen. Reinigung: etwa einmal pro Woche nehme ich das Glas heraus, gebe einen Schluck Isopropylalkohol hinein, schwenke es aus und wische es ab. Zwei Minuten. Die Außenseite des Glases wird mit der Zeit leicht klebrig vom Öl, was bei allem normal ist, das ätherische Öle vernebelt, und mit Alkohol sofort verschwindet. Das Glas nicht in die Spülmaschine, das Holz nicht einweichen. Für wen es ist: jemand in einer kleinen Wohnung, bei mir sind es etwa 55 Quadratmeter, der etwas will, das wie ein Dekorationsstück aussieht und nicht wie ein Gerät. Die Tropfenform war für mich ausschlaggebend, sie ist deutlich schlanker als die eckigen Kammern und passt auf ein schmales Regalbrett neben dem Bett, wo sonst nichts hingepasst hätte. Für wen nicht: wer sichtbaren Nebel will, wer einen Luftbefeuchter braucht und wer nur einmal im Monat nachfüllen möchte. Und wer Haustiere hat, sollte vorher prüfen, ob die verwendeten Öle für sie unbedenklich sind. Vier Monate später: kein Auslaufen, kein Ausfall, keine Reue. Zu diesem Preis das schönste und beste Gerät, das ich bisher hatte.
The first two weeks were great and I was ready to recommend it to everyone. Then the pump got noticeably louder, to the point where I can hear it from the next room and it does bother me at night. I have cleaned it exactly as directed and it did not change anything. The scent and the looks are genuinely excellent, which makes this more frustrating. Customer service offered to look at it, which I appreciate, but I would rather it just had not gone noisy in the first place.
Bought one for downstairs and liked it enough to get another for upstairs. The waterdrop shape works better than the square ones for tight spots and the glass is thick enough that I am not nervous about it. Three months of daily use and the pump sounds exactly the same as day one.
