FAQ
Why choose a waterless nebulizing diffuser? How does it differ from ultrasonic diffusers?
Our waterless nebulizer utilizes advanced cold-mist technology to atomize pure essential oils into micro-fine molecules without the need for water dilution. Unlike traditional ultrasonic diffusers that require frequent refilling and cleaning, this method maintains your home’s optimal humidity levels while preserving the integrity and therapeutic properties of the essential oils for a deeper, purer olfactory experience.
Is the device noisy during operation?
The unit features a precision-engineered air pump that employs cold-mist physical atomization to ensure the aroma remains authentic and unaltered. A soft, gentle mechanical hum is characteristic of this process. For those who are highly sensitive to sound, we recommend placing the device slightly away from your sleeping area or enjoying its superior diffusion efficiency during daytime hours.
Why is essential oil consumption higher than with traditional diffusers?
This is because a waterless nebulizer disperses 100% pure essential oil, rather than an oil-water mixture. The resulting coverage and scent longevity are significantly superior to water-based devices. You can utilize the "intermittent mist mode" to precisely control the intensity, allowing you to optimize oil usage while maintaining a balanced, pleasant atmosphere.
Why is a glass nebulizing chamber used?
Pure essential oils possess high potency and chemical activity. Glass provides the ultimate chemical stability, ensuring no reaction occurs between the oil and the container. This preserves the genuine, authentic scent of your oils. Furthermore, our glass nebulizing chamber is entirely free of microplastics, eliminating any risk of plasticizer leaching during atomization and ensuring a cleaner, healthier breathing environment.
Are all essential oils compatible?
Our diffuser is compatible with 95% of high-quality pure essential oils. We do not recommend using highly viscous oils (such as Sandalwood, Myrrh, or Benzoin) or carrier oils (such as Jojoba or Sweet Almond oil) directly. If you wish to use thicker oils, please dilute them with high-flow citrus oils before adding them to the chamber.
Is it safe to use in homes with pets or children?
Aromatherapy can coexist harmoniously with pets and children when practiced thoughtfully:
Safety Guidelines: Avoid using the device in small, enclosed spaces with pets (particularly cats, whose unique liver metabolism makes them sensitive to certain compounds) or infants. We recommend keeping the area well-ventilated during use.
Avoid Sensitive Oils: Keep the environment safe for young children by avoiding highly stimulating oils such as Peppermint, Eucalyptus Globulus, and Camphor. We recommend consulting a certified aromatherapist regarding age-appropriate usage.
Pet-Friendly Odor Control: When used in well-ventilated spaces, gentle and purifying oils like Lemon, Sweet Orange, or Lavender can effectively neutralize pet-related odors. Always ensure that pets have free access to leave the room for their comfort.
General Precaution: Always place the device out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidental tipping or breakage of the glass components.
Will the unit leak if it tips over?
For the safety of your device and furniture, the unit is designed for vertical placement. While the glass chamber fits securely, the nature of the physical atomization structure means the device must never be placed horizontally or upside down. Please ensure it is operated on a flat, stable surface.
Why does the mist output sometimes decrease or stop?
This is typically related to oil viscosity or usage conditions:
Low indoor temperatures may increase the viscosity of certain oils, slowing flow.
Low oil levels may prevent the intake tube from reaching the liquid.
Gently tilting the device to redistribute the oil, or performing a standard alcohol-based deep clean, will usually resolve this.
How do I perform a deep clean? How often is it required?
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend a deep clean once a month, or prior to any prolonged period of inactivity (two weeks or more).
Cleaning Method: Fill the empty glass chamber with a small amount of pure rubbing alcohol (75%-95%), run the device for 10-15 minutes to dissolve any lingering oil residue, then discard the remaining alcohol and allow it to air dry.
What if the glass chamber breaks?
Rest assured, we offer comprehensive support. If an accident occurs, you can contact our customer service team to purchase a replacement glass chamber directly, saving you from the need to replace the entire unit. It is both an economical and eco-friendly solution.
Why does the scent seem to fade after a while?
This is a common phenomenon known as "olfactory fatigue." The brain naturally adapts to consistent scents over time. We suggest utilizing the "intermittent mode" or rotating between different essential oil varieties to keep your olfactory senses fresh and sensitive to the fragrance.

I have a drawer full of diffusers I got bored of. This one has stayed on the desk since June. Reasons: it is the only cordless diffuser I have owned that looks like a lamp, it does not need water, and the 30ml tank means I am not constantly messing with it. Filling it is unscrew, drop, screw. Cleaning is a weekly isopropyl swish. The pump noise is there if you listen for it, which after a while you stop doing.
Bought it, filled it, love it. The orange light mode in the evening is my favourite part of the day now.
Nebulizing is a different world. My old ultrasonic needed six drops to smell like anything and left a damp feeling in the air. This one takes a few drops and you know it is on. I keep the 30ml chamber filled with a rotation of two blends and it lasts the week. The wood and glass are actually nicer in person than in the listing photos. The lid sits loose, so carry it by the base.
Kein Plastik im Ölweg, kräftiger Duft, einfache Bedienung. Nur die englische Anleitung nervt etwas.
Small thing, but the logo on the front is Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt, and the warm orange light on the lit modes kind of fits that. It is embossed into the wood too, not a sticker. Beyond that: the glass chamber holds 30ml, the wood base is solid, and filling takes twenty seconds. As a glass essential oil diffuser with a wood base it is also just nice to look at. It does tick a bit when the pump runs. Sitting on my nightstand and I am happy.
Two hour lit mode: about three evenings per charge. Eight hour unlit: two full days of light use. Always-on high output: one afternoon. The 230 hour figure is real but it is the lowest setting with no light, so do not expect it if you like high output. Passthrough charging works fine, I have had mine plugged in overnight with no issues. Charges from empty in roughly three hours. The machine itself is a joy to use.
Thick hand-blown glass and real wood at this price is a steal. Smells great, quiet enough, looks lovely on the side table.
Housewarming present for a friend who just moved. She sent me a photo of it on her console table within an hour of opening it. The glass and wood fit any decor, which is why it works as a gift, it does not look like it belongs to one style. She says the 30ml chamber lasts her the week. I am ordering one for myself.
A wireless diffuser in the bathroom sounds silly but it works. I put mine on the shelf because my old water diffuser kept leaving a film on the mirror. No water, no film, no damp. The steam free thing is why I switched and I am not going back. The wood has held up fine with the humidity so far, three months in. I run the unlit 8 hour mode in the morning while I get ready.
Solid build and the scent is far stronger than the water diffuser it replaced. The 30ml chamber is generous. Two things though. The pump is not silent, so in a quiet bedroom you will hear it cycle every few minutes, and mine lives in the office now. And it drinks oil on the higher settings, so run it low or you will be buying oil every fortnight. Both are inherent to how a nebulizer works rather than a fault, but they are worth knowing before you buy.
Bought one for myself in May, then two more as gifts. My sister keeps hers in her meditation corner and my colleague has his on his desk at work. Everyone comments on the glass. I use mine in the bedroom and the 2 hour lit mode is basically my signal that it is time to wind down. Cleaning is a weekly job and takes longer than a plastic unit, but it is five minutes and worth it. Three aromatherapy diffusers later and I am still happy with the buy.
Does everything it says. Strong scent, easy to fill, looks good on the shelf. The orange light is a nice bonus.
Returned two cheaper essential oils diffusers before this one. Both felt like toys, both leaked, both were noisy. This one is hand-blown glass on a solid wood base and the difference is obvious the second you pick it up. The chamber holds 30ml so I am not constantly refilling. It runs cool, no heat, no water. The only thing I would flag is the glass top cap, which just rests on top, so lift the whole unit by the wood.
Arrived quickly, gorgeous glass, the wood is real, and it smells amazing. I use it every night. No issues at all.
Richtig so.
If you are deciding between this and the smaller Larmes models, the difference is the oil chamber. 30ml versus 20ml does not sound like much but it is the difference between filling once a week and filling every other day. I blend my own and this is the one I reach for. The glass and wood are proper materials, the logo is embossed rather than printed, and the two lit modes glow orange. It is audible in a silent room but I run mine in the study. The waterless diffuser I recommend to anyone who blends their own.
I work from home four days a week and my desk was starting to feel like a cubicle. This sits next to my monitor now and it looks like a small sculpture rather than an appliance, which is exactly what I wanted from a waterless diffuser for home office use. The glass chamber is thick hand-blown stuff, the wood base is real wood with visible grain, and the whole thing weighs enough that I do not knock it over when I reach past it. The embossed ChezArtemis mark on the front is subtle, it does not look like branding. I run the unlit 8-hour mode during the workday because I do not want a light in my face on calls, and the lit 4-hour mode in the evening. Focus is the honest benefit here. I put rosemary and lemon in it and I stop noticing the room, which is the point. The tank holds 30ml so I am not refilling mid-week. The pump makes a small ticking sound every few minutes. The only real complaint is that the glass lid is loose on top, so grab the base and not the lid.
It is smaller than the photos suggest, which I like. Do not let the size fool you though, on the high setting it fills my open plan kitchen and living area in about fifteen minutes. I use a eucalyptus and lemon blend in the morning. The glass chamber shows exactly how much oil is left, no guessing. The battery gets me through two evenings on the lit 4 hour setting before I plug it in.
I have a thing for Artemis, so a glass oil diffuser with her logo embossed on the front sold me before I read anything about the technology. Happy to report the machine holds up. The 30ml chamber is bigger than my old diffuser and I can mix a week of oil in one go. The orange light is lovely at night. The pump makes a small noise but it has never woken me.
Two months in, still running like day one. I clean the glass chamber every Sunday with isopropyl, five minutes, and I never let oil sit in it longer than a week. I think most of the people complaining about them dying did not do this. The 30ml tank is great, I mix a big batch and forget about it. Battery on the low unlit setting genuinely lasts days.
It sits on the coffee table and nobody guesses it is a decorative essential oil diffuser until the light comes on. The orange glow on the lit modes is warm and not tacky, more like a candle. I run it for four hours in the evening with a citrus and clove blend and it covers the whole downstairs. The sound is a soft putter every few minutes. The lid is loose, that is my only note.
Tagsüber hört man gar nichts. Also am Holz anfassen. Wer einen Raum befeuchten will.
Used an ultrasonic water diffuser for three years. This nebulizing diffuser is a different category. The scent is sharper, there is no white dust settling on the TV, and there is no tank to scrub. I keep it in the hallway between the bedroom and the living room and both rooms get it. Filling takes twenty seconds with the dropper. Cleaning is a weekly isopropyl shake, takes a minute. Should have switched sooner.
The hand-blown glass is the nicest thing on my desk. Fills the room in minutes and the wood base is properly solid.
