Running it on the unlit four hour setting every evening in a small living room. Peppermint fills the room in about five minutes and then just sits there. Battery is still going strong after nine days on the first charge. The brass knob has a nice weight to it and clicks properly at every position. Would buy again.
I ran an ultrasonic diffuser with a plastic water tank for four years and I thought it was fine. It was not fine. Same lavender oil, same room, and this nebulizing diffuser puts out a scent that is roughly twice as present and does not fade after an hour. No water means no mineral dust on the furniture either, which I had not realised was a thing until it stopped happening. The glass chamber is the other improvement: I can see exactly how much oil is left, and there is no plastic tank holding onto the memory of last week's blend. Cleaning is a splash of isopropyl alcohol once a week. The single brass knob is the only control and I love it. The pump is audible in a dead silent room, so it lives in the study rather than the bedroom.
I bought this for my husband's study because he hates anything that looks like a gadget, and the Black Obsidian is the only diffuser I found that does not. Smoke glass, black wood, one brass knob, no screen, no app. The first evening he ran it on the low setting with cedarwood and the whole upstairs smelled like a hotel. He has since taken it over completely and I have had to order a second one for the living room. Two small notes. The pump is audible if the room is dead silent, so if you are buying this purely for a bedroom, go in with open eyes. And the glass lid rests on top rather than locking, so lift the unit from the base and not from the glass. Neither of those changes how I feel about it. The oil touches only glass, which was the detail that sold me, no plastic tank slowly turning into a museum of every oil we have ever used. If you are on the fence about the waterless thing, just try it. The scent is stronger and cleaner than any tank machine I have owned.

It is very fast and easy to set up,it came ready charged so you just pop some essential oil in(not exceeding the faint maximum line on the glass bowl) twist the knob and it immediately starts dispersing fragrance.I found watching the little puffs coming from the top of the spout quite mesmerising and relaxing.
I was initially confused about the settings as I couldn't see this written in the included instructions,however when I checked back on it here it states you get various modes: 2 hour timer,4-hours,8 or continuous mode.This is useful if you are prone to being a bit forgetful regarding switching it off.
It is very easy to charge with the wire included and it lasts several hours.It is a bit noisy but when the TV is on I don't notice this
It does disperse scent very well and my room smells lovely after use,worth the price.

Two things nobody tells you. One, the lid is not attached, so move it by the base. Two, oil use is genuinely heavier than a water diffuser, especially on the top setting, so budget for it. Neither stopped me loving it. One brass knob, no app, smoke glass over matte black wood. It is the only diffuser I have owned that looks at home in my living room.
Well made, heavy glass, real wood base, brass knob with proper clicks. Scent output is strong on the top setting. Battery holds for days on low.
I am not a technology person and I have never once had to ask for help with it. One brass knob, that is the whole thing. The glass is heavy and lovely, the knob feels expensive. In the living room the low setting is plenty. The scent is much stronger than the candles I used to burn.

I see people complaining about pump noise. In my apartment with a fan running I genuinely do not notice it. What I do notice is that the scent is far stronger than my old water machine ever managed, and the room smells like a proper spa.

The four settings are enough, the brass knob is satisfying, and the whole thing looks like a piece of furniture rather than a gizmo. Only note is that the glass lid lifts off easily.

Optik und Verarbeitung sind erstklassig, keine Frage. Aber die Pumpe ist im ruhigen Zimmer deutlich zu hoeren, und auf den hoeheren Stufen zieht er ordentlich Oel. Fuer das Wohnzimmer tagsueber super, fuers Schlafzimmer eher nicht. Ich behalte ihn trotzdem, weil er einfach gut aussieht.

Sixty nine ninety nine felt steep. After three weeks I stopped caring. It replaced a plastic machine that needed descaling and refilling, and it does the job in half the time with a fraction of the fuss. The matte black wood and the brass knob make it look like it belongs in the room.
I move it from the desk to the kitchen to the bathroom without thinking about outlets. The smoke glass looks even better in person. The single knob is the reason I chose this over the cheaper touch panel models.
The design is lovely and the scent quality is real. But mine developed a whine after about six weeks, loud enough that I stopped using it in the bedroom. Support was quick and sent a replacement without argument, which I appreciate, so I am giving three stars rather than one. Also the glass gets slightly tacky on the outside over time and needs wiping. I want to love it, and I almost do.

Ich nutze ihn im Wohnzimmer und im Homeoffice. Die Pumpe laeuft stossweise, im Alltag hoere ich sie nicht, nur abends wenn alles still ist. Der Duft ist sehr rein, kein Wassergeruch. Das Glas ist schwer und wertig, der Messingknopf fasst sich gut an. Reinigung mit Isopropylalkohol dauert fuenf Minuten. Klare Empfehlung.
No argument about the scent, it is far more concentrated than the water tank machine it replaced and the room fills in minutes. The catch is that it goes through oil quickly on the higher settings, and it does not humidify at all, so in winter my skin still needs a separate solution. Neither is a fault, just know what you are buying.
